Betty Ambrose Brown

Mrs. Betty Ambrose Brown of Valley Village, CA formally of Fayetteville NC and Augusta GA went to be with her Lord on February 2, 2016. She was born in Fayetteville NC on April 14, 1943 to the late Revs. Paul and Janie McKelvin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Clifton Eugene Brown, one sister, Mary M. Smith and two brothers, Thurman and Roger McKelvin. She is survived by her daughter, Tangie Ambrose of Valley Village, CA; step-son, Kwame Brown; step-daughter, Tiffany Brown; grandchildren, Rock and Stone Love Edwards; sisters, Martha Lennon and Rachel Ellis (George); five sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Betty was a 1962 graduate of E. E. Smith High Schoool, Fayetteville NC and DeShazer Beauty College of Durham, NC. Before her retirement to Augusta, GA, she owned and operated Ambrose and Ambrose Hair Gallery of Fayetteville. Betty's request was that there be no funeral services and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her grandchildren's College Fund: Tangular Ambrose/4Betty's Babies, 4804 Laurel Canyon Blvd, Suite 1082, Valley Village, CA 91607.
