A message from your second oldest son. As a child you do not understand the complexities of relationships and the ways of the world but as you get a few years on you everything takes a different perspective. When I think of you now I am sad that I did not have a chance to get to know you. I await today that we can all sit down at Our Fathers table and get to know each other.
Your son, Jerry

Dearest Clyde, As one of your daughters our lives took all kinds of twist and turns. I have alot of great memories with you and will always remember you names me Wendy and nicknamed me Honey. I hold all of our phone conversations over the years close to my heart. Goodnight Dad

Clyde was a good brother and I was bless to have co-labor with him in China for several years.

So many things come to mind. Clyde always loved to tell stories. I remember so many times we had Thanksgiving at his house. The one time we bought some honey baked ham and giving thanks to God for the people He placed in our lives. Clyde will be missed. I can hear him say" And remember don't take any wooden nickels!" Looking forward to seeing him again! Romans 9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Clyde did this always and I thank God for the time I had with him.

My deepest condolences to the Grady family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for 80 years and falls asleep in death they have made beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart aches for you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.

Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy
