Doris McKinney

Mrs. Doris Murchison McKinney was born Sept. 19, 1931, in Harnett County.  She peacefully departed this life Thursday, April 9, 2015.

Services will be noon Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Wiseman Mortuary Chapel, 431 Cumberland St., Fayetteville. 
Visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, with the  family in attendance from 3 to 5 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Roseline McKinney of  Washington, D.C., and DeLois McKinney of Wake Forest; sons, Jesse E. McKinney (Mary) of  Wake Forest and Troynell L. McKinney Reese (Sherri) of Fayetteville; sister, Vertie Mae McNeill of Fayetteville; and four brothers, Colden Murchison of Washington, D.C., Augustus Murchison (Bettye) of Raleigh, Franklin Murchison (Stella) of Spring Lake, and Junious Murchison of Raleigh.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Resources for Seniors  Inc. in her honor.  Please designate the Departure Drive Center
as the recipient, with funds to be used for Scholarship/Building Fund/Programming Assistance.  Please mail donations to 1110 Navaho Drive, Suite 400,
