Elizabeth (Baskerville) Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor, 86 of 6724 Foxberry Road Fayetteville, NC went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2017 with her family by her side. Elizabeth was born on April 22, 1931 in Oxford, NC to William and Maude Baskerville. She was one of 7 children. Elizabeth graduated from Mary Potter High School in Oxford, NC. On March 12, 1956, she was united in marriage to Louis Taylor of Stovall, North Carolina. They had 4 children. Elizabeth attended William Peace College in Raleigh, NC. She worked as a substitute teacher in the Fayetteville School System for many years. She later worked for the North Carolina State Agricultural Extension Service for 22 years before retiring in March of 1995. Elizabeth was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church where she served God as Chairman of the New Members program, directing souls to the Lord after their dedications. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, William and Maude Baskerville, Hayes Baskerville (brother), Billo Baskerville (brother), Alice Talley (sister), and Mary Gregory (sister). She is survived by her husband, Louis Taylor and 4 children, Louis A. Taylor (son), Randall B. Taylor (son), Arnetta E. Taylor (daughter), and Lloyd L. Taylor (son). She is also survived by siblings, Norven Baskerville (brother), and Gertrude Wright (sister) and 7 grandchildren; 5 granddaughters, Jazelle and Chalise Taylor ,Beth, Sophia, and Hannah Minney and 2 grandsons, Lloyd II and Joshua Taylor. Her great grandchildren, Dante Gilmer, Natalie Arellano, Londyn Taylor, and Taylor-Grace Thompson and host of other adopted children, relatives and friends.
