You have my deepest condolences. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God comfort you during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isa. 41:10) If you seek God, you will find Him because “He is not far off from each one of us”. (Acts 17:27) May the hope of a resurrection on a restored earth bring you peace. Love and God’s grace to each of you, our extended family, as we all grieve the loss of “Papa Smith”, the great and faithful patriarch of your family. While all hearts who knew and loved him morn, we can rest assured that beloved father is worshipping with the saints in his father’s holiest heaven. As beautiful memories are shared and celebration raised for such a man as Felton Jefferson Smith, to fulfill blessed roles of Husband, Father, Uncle, Grand Daddy, Great and Great Great Grand Daddy and dear Friend, we bow with you and give gratitude to God for such a model of reverent human existence, for as much time as we were loaned with him. Thanks be to God for this man of character who lived, loved, taught and shared so much by example. His life on this earth is complete. His legacy lives on through each of you and all who were blessed to be part of his life’s story.
Glory to God!

Felton was a Great Man ! & leaves a Greater Legacy by the evidence of his children and Grand Children. You can tell by the fruit he left us I can only hope to be 1/2 the man he was as he has left us with examples to follow and we too can achieve the greatness of a Christian Walk thru this life. Rest in Peace in your eternal life.

My deepest condolences to the Smith family:
Life indeed does take its turns. And when someone has been around for a long time and falls asleep in death they have made a history yes, beautiful memories to cherish. They will be missed. And, my heart aches for you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4).
Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29). I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one.
Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,
Sissy

Sorry for the loss of your love one. Phil 4:6, 7 will help you receive the peace of God. John 5:28, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. These are wonderful blessings to look forward to knowing your loved one is in God's memory. Hope this thought brings comfort.
