I am truly sorry for your loss. However, John 5:25 says “the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live”. Those who have died and are in God’s memory will be resurrected to a restored earth and have a hope of everlasting life. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.

Our condolences go to the family and friends of Chief Flanders. He was a teacher to many-including ourselves. His lessons in life and career and giving of ones self with be forever invaluable. He was a very special man whom we will miss for a long time. Heaven is surely gaining an angel. We are proud to have him watch over us all!

My deepest sympathy goes out to you as you endure this difficult time. may you find comfort from the scripture found at 2 Corinthians 1;3,4,where it shows us that God is there to comfort us during any of our trials. The Death of a loved one at any age can be very hard, may you find peace and hope in knowing soon we will see our loved ones again in the resurrection(Acts 24;15).

My deep condolences go to the Flanders family on the loss of your precious loved one. Losing a loved one is never easy. The emotional pain & emptiness is so real. But, I would like to share what helped us when our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years.
It was indeed the gift that the Most High God gave to each & everyone of us. And that is His written Word the Bible. In it contains many many words of comfort. I would like to share what has and is helping me. Please, notice God's son Jesus comforting view of death. At John 11:11-14 it brings out that Jesus viewed death as one sleeping. And not that one is here or there. I wondered will I see my loved ones again? And from the Scriptures the answer is "yes."
Please, notice these few Scriptures: Isaiah 33:24(No more sickness) Revelation 21:4(No more pain, sorrow or death) John 5:28, 29(the Resurrection hope). And, it says where at Psalm 37:11 & Psalm 37:29 brings out how long that will last. As you ponder over these few Scriptures may it bring you some comfort knowing the Most High God will fulfill His promises(Psalm 83:18 & Titus 1:2).

Sent in deep sympathy,
Sissy
