James A. Powers

Mr. James A. Powers, age 80 of 1345 Cypress Lakes Road, Hope Mills, NC departed this life on September 25th. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 1st at 11:00 AM At Union Oak A.M.E Zion Church. Burial: Rockfish Memorial Park

He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Joyce Powers; son, James Powers Jr. (Barbara); step children, Rosalind Pitt (Cameron), Anthony Hicks, and Claudette Shaw; brothers, Robert, John (deceased), Cletho (deceased) (Alice); sisters Claudia Walker (Clyde), Bessie Ogburn, four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

There will be a viewing on Friday September 30th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Wiseman Mortuary Chapel.
