To Aunt Ida and Jerome H. Askew Jr.; - It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter of your beloved husband and Dad. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. If I can share my favorite scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Uncle Jerome H. Askew Sr. is now resting in the arms of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept our sincere condolences. Keith and Ivey L. Askew Sr., San Diego CA; Mother Ruby L. Askew, Gaffney SC; Sister Frankie and Brother Plato Askew Jr., Atlanta GA.

Mrs. Askew and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Askew was a very special person and I really enjoyed joking with him and watching him smile that beautiful smile. You have my heartfelt condolences, and please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will truly miss my buddy! God has surely gained a smiling angel!

My deepest condolences to the family,
May you find some comfort in the Gift that the Most High God has given us, yes His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). I would like to share a few Scriptures that helped us to cope when our precious daughter died and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death: (Isaiah 25:8)swallow up death, (Isaiah 33:24)no more sickness, (John 5:28, 29)seeing loved ones again, (2Corinthians 1:3) yes God can comfort us, to deal with present situations.
But, He also says where we can see our loved ones again at Psalms 37:11 and how long Psalms 37:29. I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
My sincere sympathy,
Sissy
