Although time continues to pass by, not a day goes by that Justin is not in my thoughts. It is a difficult time to but we know that life must go on. Justin will always be missed. His laughter, his smile, and his giving heart shall forever live in my heart and mind. I thank GOD that we were blessed with him for 33 years. His light continues to shine in his children and his family.

You have my heartfelt condolences. Death is never easy and the loss of someone so young can be very hard. But lean on the Most High God who is the God of all comfort, as well as family and friends, for strength and support to carry you through this. (Psalm 83:18; Isa. 41:10; 2 Cor. 1:3, 4) Keep his happy memories close to your heart. And keep your head up. Acts 24:15 says “there is going to be a resurrection”. We will be able to see Justin again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.

My sincere sympathy goes out to the Braxton family on your precious loss. I understand the pain of losing loved ones to the sting of death. Three years ago our daughter died and April 21, 2017 my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death.

I would like to share what has helped me to cope. It wasn't just the outpouring of love from the many Congregations across the United States but the reality of what was contained in the Scriptures. Reading about how the Most High God's son Jesus viewed death was indeed comforting: Psalms 83:18 & John 11:11-14. Psalms gives the name of the Most High & the book of John gives Jesus view of death yes, as one Sleeping. Not that one is here or there but is sleeping. And the Scriptures even say where: Daniel 12:2 but I look to the future with complete hope of seeing my loved ones again free from sickness, pain & sorrow: Isaiah 33:24, Revelation 21:3,4. The Scriptures even say where they will be resurrected to & how long we will be together: John 5:28, 29 & Psalms 37:11 & Psalms 37:29.
Well, I hope that just these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
Sent in deep sympathy & love,
Sissy

Thank you so much for the scriptures and words of comfort. It is always difficult to understand why these things happen. In our hearts we know that we never know the minute or the hour of death. Chichis why we must prepare ourselves for when that time comes. The scriptures will bring us peace and comfort in the coming days. May GOD continue to bless you for blessings others with your thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to my sister Mary during this time. I know how much she loved Justin. She did a wonderful job raising Justin into a fine young man. He was humble and loving. His memory will always be kept alive by those of us who loved him and watched him grow up. Although our hearts are broken and we are hurting, we take great comfort in knowing that he is with the Lord and that he lived his life to the fullest.
