I am very sorry for your loss. However, Almighty God is not the cause of death; neither does he take our loved ones away from us to be with Him. (Psalm 83:18; James 1:13) Death is our enemy and soon it will be brought to nothing. (1 Cor. 15:26) We have the hope of a resurrection at Acts 24:15. We will be able to see our lost loved ones again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.

My deep condolences go to the McNeill/McDonald family on the loss of your precious loved one. Losing a loved one is never easy. The emotional pain & emptiness is so real. But, I would like to share what helped us when our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years.
It was indeed the gift that the Most High God gave to each & everyone of us. And that is His written Word the Bible. In it contains many many words of comfort. I would like to share what has and is helping me. Please, notice God's son Jesus comforting view of death. At John 11:11-14 it brings out that Jesus viewed death as one sleeping. And not that one is here or there. I wondered will I see my loved ones again? And from the Scriptures the answer is "yes."
Please, notice these few Scriptures: Isaiah 33:24(No more sickness) Revelation 21:4(No more pain, sorrow or death) John 5:28, 29(the Resurrection hope). And, it says where at Psalm 37:11 & Psalm 37:29 brings out how long that will last. As you ponder over these few Scriptures may it bring you some comfort knowing the Most High God will fulfill His promises(Psalm 83:18 & Titus 1:2).

Sent in deep sympathy,
Sissy

The Margaret Willis Staff sends their prayers to Karen's family for comfort and peace. She will be missed dearly. Karen was always a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Her smile and laughter filled the halls of the school. It will be difficult opening another school year without her presence. To the McDonald/McNeill Family.... I am just loss with words to say. My heart is heavy. Karen was a very dear friend and close to my heart. Continue to hold on to her smile and her big heart. Love you all deeply. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal. Ref: Romans 8:18. Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy comes in the morning light. Wish I could be there!!!!
