You have my heartfelt condolences. Death is never easy and the loss of someone so young can be very hard. But lean on the Most High God who is the God of all comfort, as well as family and friends, for strength and support to carry you through this. (Psalm 83:18; Isa. 41:10; 2 Cor. 1:3, 4) Keep his happy memories close to your heart. And keep your head up. Acts 24:15 says “there is going to be a resurrection”. We will be able to see Kenrick again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.

After I read about Kenrick's recent death after just 26 short years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for the Douglas family and friends. I know Kenrick has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and He comforts us by means of His word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection (John 5: 28, John 6: 40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15) I offer my sincere condolences to the family. My deep condolences to the Douglas family on the loss of your precious loved one who fallen asleep in death. May you find a measure of comfort knowing that the Most High God has given us a gift. This gift is God's written word the Bible (2Timothy 3:16 & Psalm 83:18). And in it we get to know how God's son Jesus viewed death in such a comforting way, notice this at John 11:11-14. Yes, he viewed death as one Sleeping.

May you look forward to God's promises being fulfilled at Isaiah 33:24, Isaiah 25:8, John 5:28, 29 and Psalm 37:11 lets us know where the resurrection will take place.

I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you at this time as they were to me.

In deep sympathy,
Sissy
