Kinnon Kirk

Mr. Kinnon Kirk. age 87 of 5913 Rehoboth Road Hope Mills, NC departed this life on August 7, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 14th at 12:00 Noon in the Gray's Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Burial:  Church Cemetery.

Mr. Kirk leaves to cherish his wife of 30 years, Margaret, of Hope Mills, eight daughters – Phyllis McKoy and Gloria Pearson of Fayetteville, NC; Anna Mason (Francis) and Bridget Brown (Anthony), Carolyn Kirk and Andrea Payne (Joseph) all of Maryland; Tasha Mickens-Shepherd (Joel) of Wilmington, and Sandra Edwards (Esau) of Georgia; eight sons – Jefferson Kirk and Kinston Kirk of  Maryland, Vernon Jenkins and Stacey Byrd of Charlotte, Cecil Brewington of Detroit, Kenneth “Red” Williams (Caty) of Georgia., Antonio Williamson and Daryl Stackhouse of Fayetteville.  

Eight Stepchildren – Richard, Donald and Crystal Noiles, Ericka Kitt (Six) all of Fayetteville, NC; Juanda Alexander (Howard), Nina and David Noiles and Aisha Silcott all of Boston; four sisters – Mae McKoy and Dorothy Freeman of Fayetteville, Barbara Spears (Alexander) and Patricia Stanton of Boston; 59 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

There will be a viewing on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home; the family will receive friends at the home.
