Lawrence Haywood Jenkins

Retired Army 1SG Lawrence Jenkins, 79 of 822 Bedrock Drive, Fayetteville, departed this life on December 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Friday December 19, 2014 at 12:00 Noon in the Rock Springs AME Zion Church. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: wife, Barbara, sons, Lawrence Jenkins Jr, Everette Day, Darryl Jenkins, Maurice Jenkins and Sean Jenkins; brothers, Madison Jenkins Jr; sisters, Bonnie McCracken, Mary Jenkins and Veronice Jenkins; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. 

There will be a viewing on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
