I am very sorry for your loss. However, Almighty God has provided a guarantee of a resurrection to all people in His memory by resurrecting Jesus from the dead. (Psalm 83:18; Acts 17:31) We will be able to see our loved ones again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29)  In God’s new Kingdom for which we pray, we will never have to mourn the loss of our loved ones again. (Matt. 6:10; Rev. 21:4) May you trust in God to comfort you until that time. (Prov. 3:5, 6)

To the Reid Family, just found out of the passing of your love one Les Junior Reid.
My husband Joseph Lee Faison also worked with the Division of Services for the Blind and he spoke very highly of Les. My thoughts and prayer will be with you, and may God continue to "BLESS THE FAMILY".

My deep condolences to the Reid family. Losing a precious loved one to the sting of death is Never easy. Reading about the things she liked to do especially cooking those crab legs and having friends and family join her. You can't but help appreciate her love for family and friends. I would like share what helped us when our daughter Deidra (Dee) fell asleep in death 3 years ago and now the lost of my precious husband of 50 years.

Oh, how I appreciated the love from the friends & family from the many Congregations across the United States. But, what helped the Most was the gift that the Most High God gave to us, yes the Bible (Psalm 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). Contained in that precious Book are His words of comfort & reassurance. Please, notice how God's own son Jesus viewed death at John 11:11-14. Yes, His precious son viewed death as one sleeping and not that they are here or there but just sleeping.

May you look forward to the time of seeing your loved one again in perfect health (John 5:28, 29, Isaiah 33:24 & Psalm 37:11). I hope that you will find time to read these comforting Scriptures.

I deeply understand the lost is great & the pain is real. But, God can give you the strength to endure.

Love & Sympathy sent,
Sissy

So sad to hear of Les' passing. Calvin Harris worked with him at Services for the Blind for many years. he was well known for his humor and friendly attitude. may the God of comfort bring peace to the family at this difficult time. May Jehovah give you comfort through his son Jesus Christ who said, "I am the Resurrection and the life.."John 11:25. Once again, you have our deepest condolences.
Calvin Harris and wife.
