I am truly sorry for your loss. However, John 5:25 says “the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live”. Those who have died and are in God’s memory will be resurrected to a restored earth and have a hope of everlasting life. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.

My deep condolences to the Crumpler family. Although, we have never met I have lost loved ones to the pain of death. And I would like to share what helped me during those most difficult times.
It wasn't just being around family & friends. But the hope & encouragement you get from the gift that the Most High God gave to each & everyone of us, yes that is His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). Please, notice how God's precious son Jesus viewed death in such a gentle way. At John 11:11-14 yes he viewed death as one sleeping. And God gives us the assurance that there will be a resurrection of loved ones from the sting of death (John 5:28, 29). And He even says where they are are & where they will be (Daniel 12:2 & Psalms 37:11). May you look forward to God's promises being fulfilled (Titus 1:2).
I hope these few Scriptures were of some comfort. Please feel free to contact me or visit jw.org for more words of encouragement. Our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my precious husband of 50 years fell asleep in death also. I truly understand.

Its hard to believe that 25-years have gone by since he and I met and worked together. It is my prayer that the Most High will Bless you and keep you during this time of Bereavement. Dear Crumpler Family:
Losing a loved one is never easy. It's the most unimaginable thing we can go through. I'm so sorry that you are having to endure such a trial. Our heavenly father, Jehovah had to endure the death of his child, Jesus Christ and he knows how we feel. So, he has given us exactly what we need to cope with such a tragedy. In your bible at Philipians 4:6,7 it tells us that the peace of God will gaurd our hearts and minds. In this time, we are going to need that peace from him. Revelation 21:3,4 assures us that there will come a time where death will be no more. Our heavenly Father also promises us at Acts 24:15 that he will resurrect our loved ones. I'm sure the resurrection is a time that you will keep dear to your heart. I hope these scriptures are of some comfort to you. Again, I am extremely sorry for your loss
