Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 29th at 11:00 am in First Baptist Church, Fayetteville, NC. Burial: Rockfish Memorial Park in Fayetteville, NC.

He is survived by: daughter, Elvira Jeanne Patterson, Rosa Gwendolyn Patterson; Granddaughter, Deirdre L. Patterson; Great Grandchild, CiJi A Patterson; stepsons, Marvin (Gloria) McPhail, Gerald (Althea) McPhail; stepdaughters, Pertrilla Poe, Viola McPhail; brother, James (Mary) Patterson; sisters, Annie B. Chavis, Ruth C Leathers, and Dorothy M. Mesta; and a host of other relatives and friends
