William Murphy

Retired Army SSG William Clyde Murphy Jr., 85 of 1870 Gola Drive, departed on April 29, 2016. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Evans Metropolitan AME Zion Church. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: children, Michael D. (Patricia), Melvin E. (Christian) and Desiree' Murphy; pet, Hera; brother, George D. Murphy; grandchildren, Brandon Vines, Britton Vines, Chaly Murphy Cross (Trenton) and Nina A. Hill; five great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. 

There will be a viewing on Wednesday 2 PM to 7 PM at the mortuary; family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
