Covid 19 Policy

The loss of a loved one during the COVID-19 pandemic can be overwhelming, unsure and fearful. Wiseman Mortuary Inc. recognizes this, yet we are still charged with being proactive in guiding families while working with our staff and attending services at our facilities. We affirm that we are accountable in helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and it is absolutely necessary to change the way we interreact even during times of grieving.

In accordance with the CDC, NC Department of Health and Human Services and North Carolina Board of Funeral Directors will ask you to assist us in following the 3 W’s:

• WEAR. Wear a N95 face mask or other cloth face covering. Everyone entering our facilities MUST have a mask on. If you do not have one we will provide one for you.

• WAIT. Practice social distancing and remain at least 6 feet from others.

• WASH. Wash your hands for 20 seconds as often as you can and sanitize frequently. We have sanitizer – at least 60% alcohol – at all entrances and in our conference rooms.

Wiseman Mortuary, Inc. is consistently monitoring the CDC and mandates set forth from our governor. We are in constant contact with medical professionals and also have an environmental engineer on staff to assist us with cleaning and sanitizing our facilities.
