I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. She had such a beautiful smile. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God bring you comfort and support during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isaiah 41:10) May your precious memories of her and the hope of her resurrection soon on a restored earth bring you peace. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)

Barbara will greatly missed. Her presence was one of dignity, poise, and class. Without question, her best was all she availed. I will indeed miss her on Monday mornings! She was a refreshing joy after a weekend of serving patients at CFVMC. I knew that the baton could be passed and it would not be dropped. May Barbara's family be blessed during her homecoming, not only now, but forever more. The heavens are rejoicing for a good and faithful servant has come home.

I would like to extend my condolences and prayers to the entire Owens family!! I met Ms. Owens in 2009 when I started my job at Cape Fear Valley. From the time I met her until my departure from the hospital, Ms. Owens was dedicated to her profession and the people she served. The patients, staff, and college students benefitted tremendously from her skill set that came second to none! Her strong work ethic and courage is what stood out to me the most!! I can only imagine what she meant to her family. Be blessed in the days to come and know there's a God up there who's paying attention to your needs, and has made provision for your times of sorrow!

Much love to you all,

Brian McKoy R.T.-R

Barbara, I love you just like a mom. You are one of the greatest most kindest woman I've ever known. I will miss everything about you. Your laugh, your wisdom , our Sunday night phone calls about Walking Dead, our talks of Billie and Bella, the walks to work when I would whine your walking too fast, the walks to the car when we would complain about the day together. I pray your family finds solace in this hard time. God took you far too young, but you know what? He only takes the best ones. I love you always Barbara. Watch over your family. They need you. To Barbara's family...... She was a great woman loved by many. I pray God carries each and every one of you through his protection. I know it's not easy...and when you find yourself asking what do I do now. Do what Barbara would do. She loved each of you and expressed it to me so many times. May God bless you all.

Mrs. Barbara will truly be missed. I first meet her while I was a student and I remember how she would always say something to make me laugh. We eventually ended up being co-workers and worked together for 6 years. It's hard to believe she is gone but I know she is in Heaven with our Father. My prayers go out to the family.

To the family of Mrs. Barbara, Words can't describe how sorry I am for the loss of your Mom. I have worked with Mrs. Barbara for the last 14 years. I can honestly say she was the same cheerful person whenever I saw her. We talked about her family often and she Loved each and everyone of you Dearly. I know she Loved the Lord as we would say, There's going to be a better place for us someday. No time clocks, no bills, no cooking." Prayers for you during this time of loss.

My deep condolences to the Owens family. Although, we have never met I have lost loved ones to the pain of death. And I would like to share what helped me during those most difficult times.
It wasn't just being around family & friends. But the hope & encouragement you get from the gift that the Most High God gave to each & everyone of us, yes that is His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). Please, notice how God's precious son Jesus viewed death in such a gentle way. At John 11:11-14 yes he viewed death as one sleeping. And God gives us the assurance that there will be a resurrection of loved ones from the sting of death (John 5:28, 29). And He even says where they are are & where they will be (Daniel 12:2 & Psalms 37:11). May you look forward to God's promises being fulfilled (Titus 1:2).

I hope these few Scriptures were of some comfort. Please feel free to contact me or visit jw.org for more words of encouragement. Our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my precious husband of 50 years fell asleep in death also. I truly understand.

With deep sympathy,
Sissy

Sorry for the loss of your love one. John 5:28, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. Revelation 21:3, 4 gives further assurance death will be swallowed up forever. This is a comforting thought knowing your loved one is in God's memory. Hope this brings comfort.
