Retired Army SGM Cortez Cornelius Sembly age 89 of 5206 Brookfield Road, Fayetteville departed this life Thursday, August 10, 2017.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM in Simon Temple A. M. E. Zion Church. Burial with full military honors will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday August 17th 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the church. The family will receive friends at the home.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: children, Charlotte Lowe, Tim, Terrence, Craig, Darryl and Robert Sembly, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
