Gladys (Morrison) Carter

Mrs.  Gladys Morrison Carter (Big Momma), age 84, of Vander, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was a dear loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. A caring, giving person who loved her family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Monday, July 10, 2017 at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 118 Johnson Street, Fayetteville, NC. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was preceded in death by her mother Lillie Morrison ; daughter: Lillie Pearl Gainey (Paul); two sons, James Kenneth Morrison (Deborah) and Otis Bernard Morrison.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory by four sons: Charles Thomas Morrison (Norma), Jerry Dexter Morrison, Sr. (Charlotte), Jimmy Lee Underwood, Steven Wayne Morrison, Sr.; two daughters: Shirley Ann Smith (Sylvester); Debora Eden (James).

The family will receive friends at 5015 Coker Street, Fayetteville NC.
