I am so sorry for your loss. May you take comfort in knowing that Gloria is only asleep in death and that soon Jesus will awaken her. (John 11:11-14)  And not only that, Isaiah 25:8 says “He (Almighty God) will swallow up death forever”!  (Psalm 83:18) God’s new Kingdom for which we pray will be ruled by Christ. In it, we will never have to mourn the loss of our loved ones again. (Matt. 6:10; Rev. 21:4) I hope this brings you peace.

I met Mrs. Ramsey while working at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School about 10 years ago. Any budget problems I had she would fix with a smile. She is one of the most professional and pleasant people I have ever met. Mrs. Ramsey God Bless you and your family. Mike Drafts

To Doug, your children, grandchildren, Johnny, WinefredGary and the extire Ramsey/ Potter Family:
Gloria has been a gift to all of who had the previledge of knowing her: that beautiful dimpled smile, twinkling eyes, hardy laugh and positive, uplifting disposition. We're all the better for all of it. I feel especially blessed to have had her as a neighbor, playmate etc. for many years.
Please know that in this hour of grief and loss, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Doug. I know how much you loved your beautiful, loving wife, Gloria; it was apparent in everything you did. The two of you built a beautiful, loving family and life together. It is because of that, you will have many beautiful memories to sustain you and your children and grandchildren.
We all have beautiful memories of Gloria which we will hold close and dear in our hearts forevermore.
With Love,
Willinda McLoyd Richardson

Deepest sympathy is relayed to you and your family on the loss of your dear loved mother, wife sister, friend. We feel the loss when we see pictured here such a lovely spirit. You can just tell that she bought you joy and happiness. Cling to that joy, because the God of love wants you to have those memories. Cherish every moment that you had with her and be prepared to welcome her back in the resurrection. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life...".John 11:25. When you see her again, she will be healthy, joyous and in peace. May the God of comfort give you peace at this difficult time.

My heart goes out to the Ramsey family on the loss of your precious loved one who has fallen asleep in death. May you find a measure of comfort from the Most High God's written Word the Bible (2Timothy 3:16 & Psalm 83:18).

Please, notice how God's son Jesus viewed death at John 11:11-14. Yes, Jesus viewed death as one sleeping. And, God gives us hope in seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24 & John 5:28, 29). And, the Bible even says where Psalm 37:11 and how long Psalm 37:29). Oh, what a time that will be! May you find some comfort in these few Scriptures. These few Scriptures brought us some comfort when our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death.

The God of comfort always keeps His word (Titus 1:2). Please, feel free to contact me or visit for answers to questions that may be unanswered: jw.org

My deep sympathy. I truly understand,
Sissy

To The Ramsey Family:
I am so very sorry for your loss. Words cannot express the deep sadness and shock I feel over losing such a terrific example of happiness and humanity exemplified in Gloria (Diva) Ramsey.
Who would have thought that only three short years ago when Gloria's SWCS Family sent her off into retirement, that we would be faced with losing her now. It is said that GOD works in misterious ways, but the send off we gave her while living was befitting the eulogy she will receive on Wednesday!
We were always thrilled to be in her presence, but the almighty must have needed his angel more.
Thank you for sharing your Mom with so many and for so many years. She might be gone physically , but will remain within your hearts and minds always...may GOD bless and hold your family ever so close!!!
