I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God bring you comfort and support during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isaiah 41:10) May your precious memories of her and the hope of a resurrection right here on a restored earth bring you peace. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)

To the family of Mrs. Izola Francis,

You do not know me personally but I am a local volunteer in the Washington, DC area. I recently read of Mrs. Francis’s death in the condolence section of Wiseman Mortuary, Inc. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

While I did not know her personally, I am confident that by all accounts she was an exceptional individual and model example for others. I am sure you were very proud of her and loved her very much.

I know this is a very difficult time for you. But I wanted to share just a brief message with you as a source of comfort. Revelation 21:4 states, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Right now, this may seem like an impossibility - a blurry dream even. But the Bible helps us understand how God and his Son, Jesus Christ feel about death. We were not created to die. And, as a result, the time will come when Jehovah God is going to defeat our enemy death and it will be gone forever. John 5:28, 29 states that “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus’] voice and come out.”

I know this may be a bit much to absorb right at this moment. However, when you have time, I encourage you to please take a look at this link on the website, jw.org. The link is: https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-no3-2016-may/when-a-loved-one-dies/. This entire article gives us hope for our dead loved ones and gives scriptural proof that we will see them again on a Paradise earth.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

In sympathy,
RLG from Washington, DC

My sincere sympathy goes out to the Webster/Francis family on your precious loss. I understand the pain of losing loved ones to the sting of death. Three years ago our daughter died and April 21, 2017 my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death.

I would like to share what has helped me to cope. It wasn't just the outpouring of love from the many Congregations across the United States but the reality of what was contained in the Scriptures. Reading about how the Most High God's son Jesus viewed death was indeed comforting: Psalms 83:18 & John 11:11-14. Psalms gives the name of the Most High & the book of John gives Jesus view of death yes, as one Sleeping. Not that one is here or there but is sleeping. And the Scriptures even say where: Daniel 12:2 but I look to the future with complete hope of seeing my loved ones again free from sickness, pain & sorrow: Isaiah 33:24, Revelation 21:3,4. The Scriptures even say where they will be resurrected to & how long we will be together: John 5:28, 29 & Psalms 37:11 & Psalms 37:29.

Well, I hope that just these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
Sent in deep sympathy & love,
Sissy

Hello Family, was just sitting at work bored and went on line to view obituaries. I was both shocked and saddend by the passing of Ms. Izola. IWhat actually left a note in her door earlier this year. What a beautiful soul resting in Jehovah's memory. Wish I were there for the services.

She went her way
But Oh she trod
The path that led her straight to God
Such lives as these put death to scorn
They lose our day to find God's morn

My friend of 70 years. Seventy years of laughter and sharing. How I will miss you! To all my family, I love you!

To the families and loved ones of Mrs. Francis, who we know will be dearly missed. Almighty God promised at Revelation 21:4 that he will wipe away all our tears. And death, pain, and sorrow will be no more. So you can take great comfort in drawing close to God in prayer. And he will sustain and help support your families to endure, during these difficult times. My deepest condolences to all of your loved ones.
