John W. "Buddy" Melvin

Mr. John Walter "Buddy" Melvin, age 90 of 317 Sunset Lake Road, Lumber Bridge,NC departed this life on June 15, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 20th at 12:00 Noon in the Wiseman Mortuary Chapel.  Burial:  Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.

He is survived by:  daughter, Mary Ann (Jesse) Timmons; sons, John (Angelene) Rainey and Dwight Pitts; sisters, Lessie Melvin, Ruby McArthur and Ruth King; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon; the family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 7340 Arabia Road, Lumber Bridge,NC.
