My deepest condolences to the Avery family,
May you find some comfort in the Gift that the Most High God has given us, yes His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16).
I would like to share a few Scriptures that helped us to cope when our precious daughter died and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death: (Isaiah 25:8)swallow up death, (Isaiah 33:24)no more sickness, (John 5:28, 29)seeing loved ones again, (2Corinthians 1:3). Yes, God can comfort us, to deal with present situations. But, He also says where we can see our loved ones again at Psalms 37:11 and how long Psalms 37:29.
I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to me.
My sincere sympathy,
Sissy

To The Family,
Death was not in the Almighty's original plan for humankind. God's intended for all to be happy and to live forever on an earthly paradise. In fact He created humans with the desire to live forever, not to die. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) To bring us comfort at times like this, when the Son of God, Jesus Christ, walked the earth he said, "Do not be amazed, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs (the grave) will hear his voice and come out. (John 5:28,29) This statement gives us the ASSURED HOPE that one day in the very near future all of our loved ones will be resurrected, yes, brought back to life with the precious opportunity of living forever in God's new world where sickness and death simply will not exist. (Revelation 21:3,4) I hope that the aforementioned scriptures comfort you at this most difficult time. Please accept my deepest thoughts of sympathy in the passing of Johnnie D. Avery.

Sincerely, T. Sterling, a volunteer minister

My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of this wonderful man. Johnnie was my former son-in-law but always called me Mom. He went out of his way to watch over his loved ones. His son (my grandson Justin) was his HEART!! We should all be happy that he is no longer in pain and dealing with the trials of this world. Rest in peace Son. You will always have a place in my heart!!

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your love one. May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about him and bring him back again. John 5:28, 29 gives this assurance. Hope this thought brings comfort.
