Les Junior Reid

Mr. Les J. Reid passed away on June 26, 2017 at the Duke Medical Pavillion in Durham, NC. He was 68 years old, born on June 25, 1949. Mr. Reid was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also a Mason, having served as Past Worshipful Master of Silver Square Lodge # 791 PHA. He was also a member of all the Masonic houses and obtained the highest degree of a GIG 33*. Mr. Reid was retired from the State of NC Services for the Blind in Fayetteville, NC. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Sheila Griffin Reid of the home; five children; step-sons, Derrick Griffin and Damon Williamson both of Fayetteville, NC; sister, Betty (Robert) Carpenter of Raleigh, NC;several brothers; six grandchildren; one great grandson; 5 step grandchildren; 2 1/2 step great grandchildren; special friend, Naomi Andrews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 9th at 2:00 PM in the Wiseman Mortuary Chapel. Burial: Monday, July 10th at 10:00 AM in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Bragg, NC.

There will be a viewing on Sunday July 9th from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Leukemia  & Lymphoma Society-P O  Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202
