Lettie Mae (Purcell) Shields

Mrs. Lettie Mae Purcell Shields, age 88 of 6556 Amanda Circle Fayetteville NC departed this life on August 4, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11th at 1:00 PM in the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Hope Mills, NC. Burial: Lafayette Memorial Park West (Raeford Road).

She is survived by: sons, John (Stevonne) Price and Josephus (Phyllis) Shields); daughters, Ruby (Rev. Robert) Kelly, Jestine Lyles, Joann Shields and Dr. Shirley M. Shields; sister, Annie Mae Shields; eighteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, August 10th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wiseman Mortuary; the family will receive friends at the home.
