I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God bring you comfort and support during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isaiah 41:10) May your precious memories of her and the hope of her resurrection on a restored earth bring you peace. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)

Our condolences to Richard and his family on the passing of his mother, Mrs. Irene. We know that it is hard to bear right now, but remember that death is only the end of the physical life and the beginning of an eternal life. When you lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an Angel in heaven that watches over us. Our sympathy, prayers and heartfelt condolences goes out to you and your family.

Always smiling, always happy, a personality larger than life. She brightened my day during her visits to the clinic. Though I have not seen her in some time, I will never forget her. My deepest sympathies.

Your mother gave you a foundation based on the principals of Christ. Continue to stay grounded and focused; show the love and hospitality that she shared with her fellowman. To know her was to love her. I can reflect on the sound of her voice lifted in a song of praise or filled with pride as she talked about her family; her smile as she greeted you, or her warmth as she welcomed to her home and gatherings. She will surely be missed.

Greetings to our dear Brother-in-Law Richard, along with siblings and extended family. We add our voices to the strong chorus of many friends, loved ones and acquaintances who loved and admired your mother. She was an inspiring example of unrelenting faith, strength and Godly devotion.

Your mother's life was also a very wonderful reminder that we, like the Apostle Paul, can be prepared to rest peacefully in Christ and await His appearing, if we run our course obediently and with courage through the power of the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 4 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

With Love

Rick, Cynthia and Richard III - The Major Family

My deep condolences to the Virgil family:
Although, we have never met I have lost loved ones to the pain of death. And I would like to share what helped me during those most difficult times.
It wasn't just being around family & friends. But the hope & encouragement you get from the gift that the Most High God gave to each & everyone of us, yes that is His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). Please, notice how God's precious son Jesus viewed death in such a gentle way. At John 11:11-14 yes he viewed death as one sleeping. And God gives us the assurance that there will be a resurrection of loved ones from the sting of death (John 5:28, 29). And He even says where they are are & where they will be (Daniel 12:2 & Psalms 37:11). May you look forward to God's promises being fulfilled (Titus 1:2).

I hope these few Scriptures were of some comfort. Please feel free to contact me or visit jw.org for more words of encouragement. Our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my precious husband of 50 years fell asleep in death also. I truly understand.

With deep sympathy,
Sissy

Sorry for the loss of your love one. John 5:28, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. Revelation 21:3, 4 gives further assurance death will be swallowed up forever. This is a comforting thought knowing your loved one is in God's memory. Hope this thought brings comfort.
