I am very sorry for your loss. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God comfort you during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isa. 41:10) May the hope of a resurrection on a restored earth bring you peace. (John 5:25; Psalm 37:11, 29)

To the Hicks family I give my deep condolences. Losing a precious loved one to the sting of death is Never easy. I would like share what helped us when our daughter Deidra (Dee) fell asleep in death 3 years ago and now the lost of my precious husband of 50 years.

Oh, how I appreciated the love from the friends & family from the many Congregations across the United States. But, what helped the Most was the gift that the Most High God gave to us, yes the Bible (Psalm 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). Contained in that precious Book are His words of comfort & reassurance. Please, notice how God's own son Jesus viewed death at John 11:11-14. Yes, His precious son viewed death as one sleeping and not that they are here or there but just sleeping.

May you look forward to the time of seeing your loved one again in perfect health (John 5:28, 29, Isaiah 33:24 & Psalm 37:11). I hope that you will find time to read these comforting Scriptures.

I deeply understand the lost is great & the pain is real. But, God can give you the strength to endure.

Love & Sympathy sent,
Sissy

Sorry for the loss of your loved one. John 5:28, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. Revelation 21:3, 4 gives further assurance death will be swallowed up forever. This is a comforting thought knowing your loved one is in God's memory. Hope this brings comfort.
