I am very sorry for your loss. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God bring you comfort and support during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isaiah 41:10) May the hope of a resurrection right here on a restored earth bring you peace. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)

Our hearts are heavy losing such a wonderful person as Sylvester. He worked for us for over 20 years until his health did not allow. He was a hard worker and a devoted employee. Even in the last year, he still came in and helped with a few chores around the restaurant. We will certainly miss him! Our deepest condolences to the family.

My heart goes out to the Torrey family on the loss of your precious loved one who has fallen asleep in death. May you find a measure of comfort from the Most High God's written Word the Bible (2Timothy 3:16 & Psalm 83:18).
Please, notice how God's son Jesus viewed death at John 11:11-14. Yes, Jesus viewed death as one sleeping. And, God gives us hope in seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24 & John 5:28, 29). And, the Bible even says where Psalm 37:11 and how long Psalm 37:29). Oh, what a time that will be! May you find some comfort in these few Scriptures. These few Scriptures brought us some comfort when our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death.
The God of comfort always keeps His word (Titus 1:2). Please, feel free to contact me or visit for answers to questions that may be unanswered: jw.org
