Mr. William Ernest Bridges, Sr., age 81 of 6859 Beaverstone Drive, Fayetteville, NC departed this life on February 20, 2019.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 28th at 12:00 noon in Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial: Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian Bridges; sons, Sheldon Bridges, William Bridges, Jr., Dwight Ferguson; daughter, Aleshia Roberson (Terrance); sister, Gloria Staton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, February 27th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
