My heart rejoices when I recall the great times we shared with the Stephens family most of our young lives there on Nickey Avenue where Mrs. Stephens was an loving and endearing wife and mother who gladly shared with other children in the community. I recall playing soft ball with my siblings and her children in her backyard that was in Parks Chapel's backyard. Not only was she an industrious wife and loving mother, but she was also a beautiful lady who loved the Most High God and canned the best watermelon rinds I have ever tasted. My love and prayers are included in this message to her family for I share in God's gain. God bless this family. Linda

Our family is so saddened to hear about the passing of Mama Stephens. Our families have known each other all of our lives. Mrs. Stephen was a tremendous lady, that loved her children and family, her neighbors and we all know she loved the Lord. She was a homemaker that took care of her husband, her children and even the neighborhood children. I played basketball in her backyard many a day. Her memories and deed live on. What a wonderful mother! God bless Mrs. Stephens and her family.

To the families and loved ones of Willie Stephens, who we know will be dearly missed. Almighty God promised at Revelation 21:4 that he will wipe away all our tears. And death, pain, and sorrow will be no more. So, you can take great comfort in drawing close to God in prayer. And he will sustain and help support your families to endure. During these difficult times and in the months to follow. My deepest condolences to all your loved ones.
