To My Loving Family and Friends,
I, Cheresa Nicole “Nikki” Felton (Ingram), age 38, entered the world on November 3, 1985, to my parents Willie Mack and Sandra Ingram, and I joined my older brother, Koneil Ingram and later grew up with my adopted sister, Ayshia Richards. I departed this life to be with my Lord and Savior on February 6, 2024. I am the mother to three beautiful children, Zevyn (17 years old), Zhanya (15 years old), and Zaria (5 years old). I was also affectionally known as “Grandma Nikki” to all my little cousins. As a gift to my family, friends, and loved ones, I leave you with numerous memories and pictures that you can look back on and smile.
Throughout my lifetime on earth, I fell in love, chased my dreams, went to school, worked in a profession that I loved, made numerous friends and acquaintances, cared for others, all while I was going through a challenging personal health battle. I put myself last to ensure that everyone else’s needs were met. I believed and lived by the saying “Family First”.
I enjoyed spending time with my family and closest friends. I had a special individual bond with everyone. I know that y’all be hungry all the time, so I always made sure you had a snack and/or something to eat. When I cooked, I would invite you over to spend time and get a plate(s). It didn’t matter who you were, you could count on three things: good food, good time, and a good laugh.
To my “Z” babies, I will always be with you, without a doubt, and I will ALWAYS and forever love you and will be by your side. I will ALWAYS be your angel and your guiding light. I am with God and the view is beautiful, I will see you ALL again. Mama and Daddy don’t be sad, as I am not suffering any longer and I am free. Thank you all for always loving and being there for me. For those who are lost and can’t seem to find your way, I pray that you will discover what God’s true love is about and find your way, so I may be able to see you again, too. I LOVE YOU ALL!
Love Always and Forever,
P.S. Always Remember:
The melody that the loved one played upon the piano of your life will never be played quite that way again, but we must not close the piano, and allow the instrument to gather dust. We must seek out other artists of the spirit, family, and new friends, who gradually will help us to find the road to life again, who will walk the road with us."
