Retired Army Major Clarence L. Tyson, Jr. age 69 of Fayetteville NC departed this life on February 19, 2019.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 24th at 2:00 PM in the New Vine Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia. Burial: Arlington National Cemetery.

He is survived by: wife, Edie; son, Joshua R. Tyson; daughters, Melissa Tyson and Kim Castle; brothers, Terry Tabors and Timothy Tabors; sisters, Sharon Thomas, Tammy Foster and Sarah Costal; several grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Community Funeral Home in Lynchburg, VA will be handling the funeral services.
