Elder James R. Thompson, Sr., age 69 of Fayetteville, NC departed this life on February 1, 2023. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 6th at 1:00 PM in the Wiseman Mortuary Chapel.

There will be a viewing on Monday, February 6th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial: Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, February 15th at 10:00 AM.

He is survived by: wife, Julia Thompson; children, Clinton Thompson, James R. Thompson, Jr., Tomika Wade, Jacqueline Morrison, and Barbara Jones; sister, Mamie Parker; and a host of other relatives and friends.
