Mr. Herman Odell Robinson age 76 of Baltimore MD formerly of Fayetteville departed this life Wednesday, January 11th.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 12:00 Noon at Falling Run Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
HERMAN ODELL ROBINSON was born on November 7, 1946 to the late Daisy Lee and Herman Levi Robinson. He was affectionately
known by all as Odell. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at his home. Odell received his education in the Baltimore County Public Schools and graduated from Sollers Point High School before entering the United States Army. He received numerous awards, The Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Medal, just to name a few. After his tour he decided to further his education at the University of Baltimore receiving his Associate of Arts degree in 1970. Odell was employed by many jobs throughout Maryland. He began his career at The Internal Revenue Service where he worked from 1975 until he retired in 2008. He enjoyed being retired so he could travel with family and friends. You could find Odell with a camera in hand at all family gatherings.
He also had a passion for reading. Odell was a man of charisma that led him to the altar with Darlene Bryan. After a lengthy marriage he found himself single.
One day at the park, with camera hanging around his neck, he met his wife of 40 years, Norberta Winborne. Odell leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Norberta Winborne; 4 sons, Herman Odell Jr., Brian Odell, Joshua Levi and Byron Winborne Robinson; 2 daughters, Felicia Rae and Shermenta Amanda Faye Robinson; 2 stepsons, 10 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 3
great-grandchildren, a great-stepgrandchild; his loving sister, Brenda Stokes; and a host of nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
