Johnny P. Smith Sr.

Mr. Johnny P. Smith Sr., age 81, of Fayetteville, North Carolina departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2024.  He was a retired educator and assistant superintendent with the Department of Corrections.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at Northwood Temple Church.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.

Viewing, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the church.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 23, 2024 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Northwood Temple Church.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: wife, Carol Smith; son, Johnny P. Smith Jr. (Cynthia); daughter-in law; Bernadette Smith,  grandchildren, Cara Doodley, Joshua Smith, Brandon Smith and Jasmine Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.
