Retired Army SFC Joseph E. Brown, age 78 of Hope Mills, NC departed this life on May 25, 2023.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 2nd at 10:00 AM in the Cape Fear Conference "B" Headquarters, Raeford, NC. Burial: Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Bragg, NC.
He is survived by: wife, Sandra; children: Dimeatrious Pettress, James Moore, Carisa Barrett, Shamala Williams and Tashama Williams; siblings: Gracye Brown, Sandra "Jill" Brown, Barbara Henderson, Christine "Tina" Acosta (Aaron), Maxine Chandler and Brenda Bigelow (Freeman); seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; Sister-in-laws, Cynthia McLeod, Cheryll McNeill(Calvin), Sheila Raeford; Mother-in-law, Frances Raeford and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, June 1st from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
