Leon Evans

Mr. Leon Evans age 100 of Fayetteville departed on Sunday, May 2, 2021.  He was a member of Falling Run Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 8th at 11:00 A.M. in Wiseman Mortuary Chapel. Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 8th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Falling Run Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. 

He is survived by his daughter Marie (Alvin Sr.) Melvin of Fayetteville, NC, and son Darryl Evans of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One sister surviving sister Mary Rowen in Clearwater, Florida. Two grandsons, the late Daniel Melvin, surviving Alvin Jr. (Donya) of Morganton, NC, and great grandchildren Aliyah, Aterea, Faith, Tiffany, Jermaine, and Melissa Barnes. Very special nephew Mr. Roy Williams, Niece Linda Burnett, and Special goddaughter Gladys Warren. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and family.
