Leona "QT" (Melvin) Chavis

Ms. Leona "QT" Chavis, age 87, of 106 Old Parker Farm Road, Raeford, NC departed this life on Friday, June 22, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29th at 12:00 Noon in the Beauty Spot Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Lafayette Memorial Park West.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: two children, Linda Walters and Larry Chavis; sister, Mary Helen McMillan "Mae Helen"; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, June 28th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wiseman Mortuary; the family will receive friends at the home.
