Ms. Mable Lee Council, age 86 of Brooklyn, NY formally of White Oak, NC departed this life on Friday, August 25, 2023.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 2nd at 1:00 PM at First New Light Baptist Church (White Oak, NC) Burial: Church Cemetery

She is survived by: Children, Erika Carver, Saundra Council, William Carver (Lisa), Mervin Jackson (Tomica), Gwendolyn Jackson; siblings, Ophelia Thompson (Oscar), Estelle Council, Marzella Guions (Enoch), Albert Council (Inez) ; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing on Friday, September 1st from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
