Mr. Michael Lafayette Bonds, age 75 of Shannon, NC departed this life Friday, September 16, 2022. He was an army veteran.
Funeral service and military honors will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 11:00 AM in Wiseman Mortuary Chapel.
Burial Monday, September 26th at 10:00 AM at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
Viewing Saturday, September 24th 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wiseman Mortuary.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Doris (McLean) Bonds, son Michael T. Bonds (Kefira), daughter Kimberly A. McNair (Sammy), seven grandchildren Jabria Beard, Shawndora McNair, Jaylyn McNair, Makayla Bonds, Michael X. Bonds and Dezmon and Kaylah McNair (deceased); two brothers Larry Bonds (Lorrielle) of Norristown PA and Marlon Bonds (Nancy) of Philadelphia PA; two sisters Diane Manley (Robert) of Newark Delaware and Melva Randall of Austell Georgia; four sisters-in-law Sarah Watts, Carrie Graham both of Fayetteville NC, Geraldine McRae of Parkton NC and Shirley Bonds of South Carolina; four brother-in-law Jerome McLean and Sherrod Chapel of Parkton NC, Franklin and Freddie Chapel of St. Pauls NC and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
