Mr. Samuel G. Harris, age 86 departed this life on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. 

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at John Wesley United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park West.

Viewing: Tuesday, September 5, 2023 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: wife, Jessie Mae Harris; children, Dr.  D.C. Harris-McIntyre (Louis), and Dianne Reaux (Brian); brothers, Dr. Walter Stephens; and Donald Marable, sisters, Dorothy J. Jackson, Helen Sneed, Clarice Banks, Vicky Hinton; four grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
