Shirley Hood

Shirley Ann Hood, age 77, departed this life on Saturday,  April 6, 2024. 

Shirley was born on May 29, 1946 to the late Samuel Johnson and Mary Dennis. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Lee Hood, and her sister Mary Johnson.

She is survived by her son, Desmond Hood; her grandchildren Dezaria and Cashmere Hood; her special friends Sherri, Thomas, and Amanda Tobinski; and a whole host of loving friends she made throughout her life.

Memorial services will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday April 23, 2024 at 12:00 noon.
