Troynell L. McKinney Reese

Mr. Troynell L. McKinney Reese, 51, of Waxahachie, TX, formerly of Fayetteville, NC, departed this life on December 20, 2019.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at 12:00 noon at the John Wesley United Methodist Church, 616 Cumberland Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301.  The family will receive visitors at 11:30 a.m. at the church.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 27 years Sherri Tedder Reese; the joy of his life, son Troynell, II of Nashville, TN; Sisters Roseline McKinney of Washington, DC, Delois McKinney of Wake Forest, NC, and Sara Reese (Sterling) McCormick of Fayetteville, NC; Brother Jesse E. (Mary) McKinney of Wake Forest, NC; special daughter Toni (Tony) Winston of Richmond, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Doris M. McKinney, Father Lenard Reese, Mother-in-law Linda Tedder Jones; and Father-in-law Dr. Henry Holloway, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Troy L. McKinney Reese Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship www.troyreesescholarship.com.  The Scholarship will be Awarded each year to a member of the E.E. Smith High School Magnificent Marching Machine who will further their education at N.C.
