Ms. Veoria Vesti Parker Sykes, age 87, of 5510 Livingston Drive departed this life on December 15, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Mattock Memorial AME Zion Church. Burial: Rockfish Memorial Park.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Children, John R. Sykes, Jr., George K. Sykes, Doretha Johnson (John), Maxine Edwards (Carlos) and Belinda Johnson. Siblings, Otis L. Parker, Rena Morgan, Sandra Smith (Howard) and Vernissia "Van" Underwood; 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing Friday December 21st  2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wiseman Mortuary, family will receive friends Friday 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
