Retired Army MSG Willie James Melvin, age 83 of 7328 Hyannis Drive departed this life on Monday, June 22, 2020.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 29,2020 12:30 PM at Alligator Cemetery in Marietta, NC.

He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Abigail Melvin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewings will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Wiseman Mortuary and on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon at Turner Station AME Church in Marietta, NC.
