Very sorry to here about the passing of Rev. Wright, he was a outstanding person. We served in Vietnam together with the 173rd Airborne, and he was the best to be with .

To Mrs. Ella Wright and the entire family of Rev. Ander L. Wright, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Rev. Wright was a pastor's pastor and a wonderful shepherd to the Gardner Chapel Church family during his tenure there as pastor. Even after I relocated to Greensboro (from Fayetteville), he and Mrs. Wright would call every two-three months, and he'd always ask, "Do you need anything?" It always warmed my heart to know that he cared about me.
