You have my heartfelt condolences. Death is never easy and the loss of someone so young can be very hard. But lean on the Most High God who is the God of all comfort, as well as family and friends, for strength and support to carry you through this. (Psalm 83:18; Isa. 41:10; 2 Cor. 1:3, 4) Keep her happy memories close to your heart. And keep your head up. Acts 24:15 says “there is going to be a resurrection”. We will be able to see Exzandria again on a restored earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.

To the family of Exandria McKinnon,

You do not know me personally but I am a local volunteer in the Washington, DC area. I recently read of Exandria's death in the condolence section of Wiseman Mortuary, Inc. She was so young and I am truly sorry for you loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

While I did not know her personally, I am confident that by all accounts she was an exceptional individual and model example for others. I am sure you were very proud of her and loved her very much.

I know this is a very difficult time for you. But I wanted to share just a brief message with you as a source of comfort. 1 Corinthians 1:3, 4 states, “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort...who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.” The Bible helps us understand how God and his Son, Jesus feel about death. And as a result, the time will come when he is going to defeat our enemy death and it will be gone forever. John 5, 28 and 29 states that “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus’] voice and come out.”

I know this may be a bit much to absorb right at this moment. However, when you have time, please take a look at this link on the website, jw.org. The link is: https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/bible-teach/hope-resurrection-of-dead-loved-ones/. This chapter gives us hope for our dead loved ones and gives scriptural proof that we will see them again on a Paradise earth.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

In Sympathy,
RLG from Washington, DC

For the family of Exzandria McKinnon: It is with deep sorrow of losing one to the sting of death. I would like to share what is helping me to cope after the death of our daughter then my husband of 50 years on April 21, 2017. It wasn't just the out pouring of love from our many friends in different Congregations across the United States. But, what was contained in the Scriptures is helping me to cope.

I would like to share some of those precious gems of comfort: Notice how the Most High God's son Jesus viewed death at John 11:11-14 & Psalms 83:18. Ah yes, he viewed death as one sleeping. And Daniel 12:2 goes hand & hand with that Scripture. God promises that we will see our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24, Revelation 21:3,4 & Psalm 37:11).

Please, feel free to contact me if you would like to express yourself. I truly understand about the pain caused by the sting of death.

Sent in deep sympathy,
Sissy

PEACE BE WITH YOU:
Words cannot express the hurt we feel, nor the unbearable pain. For we love our children with every fiber of our being. The lasting memories that were worth seeing.
She slipped away at night, not making a sound or saying good-bye, It wasn't because she didn't love you, It was so you wouldn't cry. She's at peace now, and her soul can finally rest. For she gave God her all, and for Him, that was her best. R.I.P. my child for a job well done, Your battle is over, and victory has been won.
Sincerely,
Jack & Pamela Lewis
