You have my deepest condolences. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God bring you comfort and support during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isaiah 41:10) May the hope of a resurrection right here on a restored earth bring you peace. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)

To the family of Mr. Henry Brown,

You do not know me personally but I am a local volunteer in the Washington, DC area. I recently read of Mr. Brown’s death in the condolence section of Wiseman Mortuary, Inc. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

While I did not know him personally, I am confident that by all accounts he was an exceptional individual and model example for others. I am sure you were very proud of him and loved him very much.

I know this is a very difficult time for you. But I wanted to share just a brief message with you as a source of comfort. Revelation 21:4 states, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Right now, this may seem like an impossibility - a blurry dream even. But the Bible helps us understand how God and his Son, Jesus Christ feel about death. We were not created to die. And, as a result, the time will come when Jehovah God is going to defeat our enemy death and it will be gone forever. John 5:28, 29 states that “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus’] voice and come out.”

I know this may be a bit much to absorb right at this moment. However, when you have time, I encourage you to please take a look at this link on the website, jw.org. The link is: https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-no3-2016-may/when-a-loved-one-dies/. This entire article gives us hope for our dead loved ones and gives scriptural proof that we will see them again on a Paradise earth.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

In sympathy,
RLG from Washington, DC

My deep condolences to the Brown family on the loss of your precious loved one. May you find some comfort from the spiritual gems contained in the Scriptures. Please, notice how the Most High God's son Jesus viewed death: John 11:11-14 & Psalm 83:18 - Yes, Jesus viewed death as one sleeping.

May you look forward to a time when you may see your loved one again in perfect health free from the sting that death causes (Isaiah 33:24, Revelation 21:3,4 & Psalm 37:11).

Sent in deep sympathy,
Sissy

To the families and loved ones of Mr. Brown, who we know will be dearly missed. Almighty God promised at Revelation 21:4 that he will wipe away all our tears. And death, pain, and sorrow will be no more. So you can take great comfort in drawing close to God in prayer. And he will sustain and help support your families to endure. During these difficult times and in the months to come. My deepest condolences to all of your loved ones.
